Miscellaneous Notes & Reports in Natural History,

Ecology, Conservation and Resources Management

Formal knowledge has traditionally been transmitted through the publication of documents in learned journals or in the form of books. The grey literature, often in the form of typescripts, is difficult to get hold off and eventually gets lost. Also, going through the formal process of publishing is generally slow and may be limited to standard types of papers. When pieces of work fail to be completed due to lack of time, and or resources, this knowledge just vanishes. Here, various documents that have reached varying stages of completion are made available. The internet now allows the dissemination of knowledge that may be readily updated. The material presented is aimed at keen observers of nature with a broad spectrum of interest as opposed to career scientists.
